Wynfall Code is a coding assistant for your terminal. It reads the project you open, maps how it fits together, and plans a change with you before it makes one.

> The signup form accepts an email made of spaces. Why?

read routes/api.ts
read handlers/signup.ts
The handler checks the length before it trims.
So " " passes the check, then saves as an empty string.
Plan: trim first, then check, and add one test for it.
Switch to /build and I will make the change.
Illustrative example, not a live session.

Understand first, then change.

The same model as Wynfall AI, working in the folder you choose.

Map a project.
Ask how a codebase fits together. Code reads the files in the folder you opened and follows the flow before it suggests anything.
Chase a bug.
Describe what is wrong. It reads the code involved, explains the cause and proposes the smallest change that fixes it.
Plan, then build.
/plan talks a change through without editing anything. /build lets it edit files and run commands.
Asks before it acts.
By default it asks before it writes a file or runs a shell command, so nothing in your project changes without a yes.
Knows your project.
/init writes a WYNFALL.md guide with your conventions, and later sessions start by reading it.
Sees a task through.
/loop works one task in checked rounds until it is done. /loop off stops it.

One model. One mark.

Sigel's tier is shown in the apps as three feathers, and in the terminal as three dots. Set how hard it thinks with /reasoning, and Code remembers the choice for that model. More about the models.

Deeper reasoning for code, writing and long documents, with up to 262K tokens of context. Wynfall Code is included from Starter.

Your code is not training data.

When you use Sigel, your code goes to Wynfall's hosted models to answer you. Nothing you give it trains a model, on any plan, Free included, unless you send it to us as feedback.

Wynfall models.

Sigel answers under our Terms: no training on your prompts, code or outputs without that choice.

Your own providers.

Connect an API key and that provider answers under its own terms and billing. Code never switches providers on its own. If our service is down, it says so.

Local models.

Point Code at the local model runner you already use and the model runs on your machine. No Wynfall key needed.

Read the exact wording in our Terms

Works with what you already use.

Wynfall models come first, and they are never the only option.

Your own API keys.
Presets for the major AI providers, plus any compatible endpoint. Charges go to that provider.
Connectors (MCP).
Add MCP servers once and Code starts them when a task needs them. It confirms before calling a tool in ask mode. Wynfall Desktop reads the same list.
Your own skills.
Add skills under ~/.wynfall/skills and any session can use them.
Windows, macOS and Linux.
One command installs it on each. We publish it when your access opens.

The install line works only for accounts that have been let in: if you are in, sign in and use the download page. Code is included from Starter, and every plan is on the pricing page. See how Wynfall is different.

We let people in by hand, in waves. Once you are in: 7 days of Builder free, no card.
